Whilst it is important to be able to feel our emotions, it is not healthy to hold on to them and let them impact our lives detrimentally. Meaning one can notice that you got angry for whatever reason and then let the event pass and let go of the anger.
Get rid of negative emotions.
The problem comes in when people hold on to those negative emotions like anger and that then effects them in their daily lives. Forever getting angry at everything and everyone. There are anger management courses available, but most of them just deal with the symptoms and not the underlying issue. Holding on to these negative emotions like anger, can actually cause disease.
