Merry Christmas

Let me be the first person to wish you compliments of the season. I’d like to take this time to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a very prosperous New Year. So we have come to almost the end of another year. It is time to take stock and see what has worked over the last 12 months and what has not quite generated the results we wanted. Did you set yourself any specific goals which you did not achieve? What action steps have you got in place to ensure that the next 12 months are going to be your best yet?

Next Christmas

Whatever has happened this last year is water under the bridge. You may have experienced some wonderful things and maybe some not so wonderful. Regardless, what is in the past is in the past. The future has not happened yet and as such we can learn from our past to create the future we want. To do this, we need to put in the effort in the present. After all, the present is truly the real gift of life. Pun intended.

The point is that we are only ever in the present, although many people life in the past or the future. In taking action in the present, we will affect our future. This can be positive or negative. The beauty of it is, that the choice is ours. It is our actions or in-actions that create our future.

So what could you do to have a positive effect on your future? What could you do that will give you the best chance of achieving those goals that you have set yourself for the next 12 months. If we do not set goals, then we are at the mercy of things happening to us, which is not very empowering. So take action now to create the future you want.
