The Illusion of Time with Dr. Bruce H. Lipton
Watch this short video in which Dr. Bruce H. Lipton talks about the illusion of time.
The right brain senses time in the present moment and uses creativity, the left brain perceives time in terms of past and future.
Newtonian physics said that time is a continuum and you are at this time, or that time. According to quantum mechanics, time is simply a conscious expression. The past, present and future are all here right now. The thing is that even now is infinitesimally small. Even when you say now, it is not now anymore as that moment has already passed.
“If you are depressed, you are living in the past. If you are anxious, you are living in the future. If you are at peace, you are living in the present.”
-Lao Tzu
The illusion of time may appear real.
The question is, do we live in the past, present or future? Meaning are you living a real manifestation or are you living in a conscious manifestation? So is what you seeing real or did you create it in your head? Let’s just consider the NLP communication model, which we discuss in the Free NLP coaching course. Each of us only takes in around 134 bits of information per second out of the 11 million we get bombarded with. We delete, generalize and distort the information as it goes through our internal filters and we create an internal representation of our subjective experience. So you can understand that if I only took in 134 bits of information and so did you, then that information could be very different. Thus our internal representation is going to be very different. So is that “picture” that you hold in your mind real, or is it one that you have manifested? (Welcome to the Matrix.)
